JEFFERSON CITY - The prosecution in the case of Alyssa Bustamante called its rebuttal witness Tuesday morning to kick off what could be the final day of testimony in the sentencing hearing for second-degree murder.

New details have emerged in the death of Leslie Ashton, the sister of pop stars Nick and Aaron Carter. According to an incident report, released by the Chautauqua County Office of The Sheriff, Leslie apparently suffered an overdose on Tuesday. An official cause of death has not been released, pending the results of an autopsy.
